Xela Day 2

January 4, 2013

So, I have made 2 new posts. One is for my compilation called “Travel Tomb” or “Vacation Tomb” and it is about the bus ride from Puerto Escondido to Palenque, my thoughts and sights. I include some of my shitty Spanish, which I am in two minds about, because most people won’t know what the fuck I am saying, and switching to a foreign language can break up the prosody of the piece. But you know what? It is what I was feeling at the time, so back up!

My sixth micro story makes me seem like a necrophiliac. Don’t worry. I will not touch up your deceased body. If you’re reading this, you’re not dead, so by that fact…impossible! You’ve got more important things to worry about, I bet…moving on…I like the themes of death as they can make people feel uncomfortable as you put images and thoughts into their minds that they wouldn’t usually think about, also as you change expectations going from describing beauty and then finding out the first time he found her beautiful was when she was a corpse. A little dark, perhaps, but that’s life and sometimes people find corpses sexy…right? No I’m just messing with you. Really. Now you think that that’s what I think and you’re thinking, “Hmmm…does he like dead people?” Well, seriously I don’t. Truly. Come on! Stop thinking about it…and there, I have done it again, implanting thoughts into your head. And seriously, I don’t like dead bodies. Seriously. Stop thinking about it. OK, I’m done.
